SCHOLARSHIPS

Individuals who are not employed by the private sector are welcome to apply for a scholarship by submitting the documents detailed below latest by 6 weeks prior to the course start date.

Applications are reviewed by the VSCR Selection Committee and the most promising and deserving candidates will be selected for a scholarship.

For all courses scholarship applicants MUST

• be fluent in written and spoken English;
• submit a detailed curriculum vitae together with a letter of recommendation from their direct supervisor;
• submit a self written letter of motivation indicating why the particular course is of benefit to them and their professional carrier;
• and send a passport size photograph.

A VSCR scholarship covers the following costs:

• course registration fees;
• course materials;
• hotel accommodation in Vienna for the duration of the course;
• lunch and refreshments during the course;
• one evening social event.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Travel and out of pocket expenses, including visas are the participants´ own responsibility. We are happy to provide applicants with an invitation letter for visa purposes. However, VSCR can NOT cover travel and visa costs.
