CERTIFICATION & ACCREDITATION
Certification
The Vienna School of Clinical Research (VSCR) offers a program of modular courses allowing participants maximum flexibility in deciding their chosen path of educational development.
Successful completion of the examination of each individual course together with appropriate attendance during the course (students need to attend the course for min. 80 % of the total time of the course) will be recognized with the award of certification in that course. Three levels of certificate are awarded:
1. Confirmation of Attendance
Participants who have attended the full module but have failed to attain a minimum of 60% in the examination.
2. Certificate "Successfully Passed"
Participants who have attended the full module and have scored between 60-84% in the examination.
3. Certificate "Successfully Passed, with Distinction"
Participants who have attended the full module and have achieved an examination result of at least 85%.
The VSCR has defined diploma programs tailored to the various target groups and roles in clinical research. These diploma programs consist of a number of pre-defined mandatory courses that need to be taken and successfully completed (positive examination result). In the course descriptions which follow, the color-coded bullet points identify the mandatory courses that relate to the various diploma programs.
Accreditation
All VSCR courses are accredited and have been awarded by the following bodies:
- Österreichische Akademie der Ärzte (Diplomfortbildungspunkte - DFP)
- European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) (CME Points)
