EDUCATIONAL ADVISORY BOARD
The Vienna School of Clinical Research (VSCR) has trained more than 5500 participants from over 90 countries over the last ten years. Since the year 2001, approximately 20 different course modules have been developed, involving an international faculty of around 150 experts from more than 40 different countries. Our educational programme aims to optimize clinical research by minimizing risks and cost while maximizing scientific value as well as ethical and quality standards.
An Educational Advisory Board (EAB) has been established to provide VSCR with subject matter expertise. The objectives of this working group are to give a piece of advice on educational strategies, educational programmes, content and training methods and on selection of new speakers. They also aim to improve the existing courses continuously and advise on the development of new courses.
EAB Members are invited for membership on the basis of their
(1) scientific and technical expertise and ability to develop and teach on postgraduate courses in clinical research,
(2) their teaching skills and
(3) their involvement in the development and conduct of VSCR courses and programmes in the past.
